ALA General Meeting

February 24, 2004: Minutes

  1. Voting on New Constitution
    1. In order to vote on the changes made to the Constitution, we need to announce the vote one month in advance, consider this the announcement!
    2. We will adopt it given the majority vote of those present and voting at the next meeting.
    3. We will vote on the changes by ballot, first on the Constitution. If it passes, we will vote on adapting new bylaws. If bylaws are passed, we will vote on ACRL bylaws.

  2. ALA national Conference
    1. The Earlybird registration ($33 for students) ends on 2/27.

    3. Full registration costs $70, if you choose to cancel, there is a cancellation fee (we think it's $25 or $30).
