• Leigh Estabrook's Salary Negotiation Talk
o Leigh Estabrook directs the School's Library Research Center, served as the Dean for 15 years, and is the recipient of the 2003 Association for Library and Information Science Award for professional contributions to library and information science education
• Student to Staff Program, a scholarship for the Annual ALA conference (June 23-27, New Orleans)
o Students applying must be a member of ALA National
o Will work a total of 20 hours over about 4 days during the national conference
o Will receive free conference registration, housing, and a per diem for meals
o Will be responsible for transportation costs
o Applications Due: Tuesday, 17 January 2006 and must include your CV/Resume, a brief statement of interset (no more than one paragraph) and your ALA student membership number. Send to Kathryn LaBarre (kathryn.labarre@gmail.com) by Tuesday, January 17th.
o A panel of GSLIS faculty will choose the lucky recipient!

o This Friday, 9 December 6-8 PM at the University YMCA across from the library
o Set up about 5:30, tear down afterwards
o Light food provided (including vegetarian options)
